We had a “full house” last week, and a very informative and rewarding meeting this month: Parents had wonderful questions and participation. We also had the presence of a teacher and a speech and language pathologist. I hope you all learned a lot, and that you are putting the information into action with your children, and that you are educating others in the community about Selective Mutism. The meeting was so rich for all involved that Dr. Joffe decided to have another Educational Meeting for parents in February: We will be updating your impressions of your child’s progress during the last couple of months, and we will also talk about your plans for the summer, and for the next academic year. Please, do not hesitate to email Dr. Joffe with questions and/or topics you would like to be covered for our next Educational Meeting.
